“I like to make sure that I’m always well and correctly dressed.”

by iamnirav on October 14th, 2010

The more I get into clothing and its proper use, the more it becomes to me a creative field like any other. This man—Patrick Grant—designs his outfit like a graphic designer sets type. The way he describes his wardrobe is comparable to how I’ve heard fonts being spoken about by a typophile. Like Lindy Hoppers wax poetic about connection.

His closing words:

“Getting dressed is a moment of calm, I think, in each day. It’s a moment that’s entirely our own; it’s a moment when nothing else can disturb us, and I think it’s something we need to learn to enjoy once again.”
